Rider, rider, gleaming bright!

If you've ever had a hankering to make your own bike light, then why not scratch the itch? There are some plans below. There are probably many ways to make them better, but my practical and electronics "skills" have been largely unused since Year 9 Design & Technology, so erring on the side of simplicity seemed to make sense.

Assuming you already use dynamo lighting, then the light costs around a tenner to build and it's very bright for the price. There's no standlight (i.e. when you stop moving, it goes out), but it does start working at a slow walking pace. The beam is very broad, which is great for riding on unlit off-road cycle paths.

Much of my inspiration came from here, which also has a much more detailed approach on exactly which components to use in the circuit. Any advice on how I could improve the how-to guide is appreciated.
